Melanie Schantz is a native New Yorker that, after visiting Costa Rica for many years, relocated to Puerto Viejo in the summer of 2022 and now lives is Cocles.

She has worked in Real Estate Management since 2015 and joined the Caribbean Costa Rica Real Estate team in January of 2023. She has over 10 years of experience in customer service.

Melanie is the key person that helps clients manage their rental properties. With her, your property is in the best hands possible. She communicates with clients, handles bookings, and offers the renters guidance in order to make their travel experience unforgettable. They will undoubtedly want to come back!

Melanie stays in communication with the property owner throughout the months to make sure the property is kept in peak condition. She handles paying the bills for the property and arranges for any necessary maintenance. Every month, a report is sent to the owner providing details of rental dates, guests names, and rental income.

Right now she has a team that helps her manage the properties. She currently manages homes in the Puerto Viejo area and clients and homeowners are very pleased with her services.
